Whew, we made it to the end of another week! We had such a wonderful week and now we’re headed into a weekend that Ben has off of work. It’s always so nice to have him home on the weekend! I have some fun things to recap from this week, so let’s get started.
Beach Babe
This week we took a family walk at a local park that’s on a lake and it has some beautiful trails. We walked down to the water and Willa loved it. It was so fun to watch her take it all in.
Oh my sweet little babe. Her being that little somehow feels like forever ago but also like last week all at the same time. Willa is going to be half a year in a few weeks and I just can’t believe it!
We’ve been asked quite a bit how we chose Willa’s name, so I figured I’d share on here. Names are so important to me and I wanted to be really intentional about what we chose. We had a hard time deciding between a few different options. We ended up narrowing it down to two different names and wanted to wait until we met her to decide.

Willa’s First Ponytail
I have been waiting for this moment since I found out she was a girl! Willa has one little tuft of hair in the front of her head that is a little bit longer than the rest of her hair. It was not easy trying to hold all of those little hairs, but somehow I managed!
